e-Granthalaya is an online library providing access to e-books, e-journals and other digitized resources to the users of universities, colleges and research institutions in India. It was launched in August 2013 with the aim of promoting the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the field of education and research. The e-Granthalaya portal provides a single window access to a large number of e-resources including e-books, e-journals, databases and other digitized resources. It is a project of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
